演題：「Evanescent Wave-Based Particle Tracking Velocimetry」

Abstract ： Interfacial effects and surface forces are important in many microfluidic devices with their relatively large surface areas and small volumes. Over the last decade, velocimetry methods using evanescent-wave illumination of fluorescent colloidal particles have measured fluid velocities within about 500 nm of the wall in Poiseuille and electrokinetically driven flows. This talk describes these studies, and discusses some of the challenges in extracting accurate fluid velocity data from these measurements of particle displacements.
